KAHĀ Conferences Through the Years

The Ka ʻAha Hoʻolauna Aloha conference brings together an extraordinary collective of esteemed kumu hula, cultural practitioners, educators, healers, musicians, and ʻike Hawaiʻi scholars to share ancestral knowledge across hula, oli, mele, ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi, hoʻoponopono, lāʻau lapaʻau, hana noʻeau, genealogy, and place-based learning.

Rooted in lineage, ʻike kūpuna, and lived practice, the program offers immersive workshops and lectures designed to deepen cultural understanding, strengthen identity, and nurture intergenerational transmission of Hawaiian knowledge.

Through hands-on learning, scholarly insight, and embodied practice, participants are invited to engage with Hawaiian culture not as performance, but as a living, relational system grounded in aloha, kuleana, and the continued flourishing of the lāhui.
