‘Ike Akamai Scholarship Application
The ‘Ike Akamai Scholarship supports Native Hawaiian youth in participating in KAHĀ’s Conference and other KAHĀ programs.
This opportunity uplifts ʻike, identity, and leadership rooted in aloha and kuleana.
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements and submit all required materials by the deadline.
The ʻIke Akamai Scholarship is rooted in a commitment to uplift and invest in the next generation of Kanaka ʻŌiwi leaders.
Applicants must identify as Native Hawaiian.
Be between the ages of 16 and 25.
Reside within 100 miles of the KAHĀ Conference location.
Recipients are expected to fully engage in the experience by attending all three days of the conference, honoring both the opportunity and the ʻike shared.
This scholarship is not only a pathway to learning, but a kuleana, requiring active participation, meaningful connection, and a willingness to carry knowledge forward by sharing it within one’s ʻohana and broader community.
