‘Ike Akamai Scholarship Application‍

The ‘Ike Akamai Scholarship supports Native Hawaiian and Hawaiian at heart youth in participating in KAHĀ’s Conference and other KAHĀ programs.

This opportunity uplifts ʻike, identity, and leadership rooted in aloha and kuleana.

The ʻIke Akamai Scholarship is rooted in a commitment to uplift and invest in the next generation of leaders.

  • Applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 25.

  • Recipients are expected to fully engage in the experience by attending all three days of the conference, honoring both the opportunity and the ʻike shared.

This scholarship is not only a pathway to learning, but a kuleana, requiring active participation, meaningful connection, and a willingness to carry knowledge forward by sharing it within one’s ʻohana and broader community.
